Happy Friday everyone!

Josh and the band played Moomba Festival in Melbourne on Monday. A public holiday, great weather, and amazing music made for a large turn out! Friends of Josh Pyke were there (of course) and we made this little video for those of you who missed it! (iPhone footage – sorry for the quality!)

Next month, Josh is playing Bluesfest in Byron Bay. You can catch him on Sunday 8th of April at 7pm on the Mojo Stage. Full details here.

Last week rehearsals for the Love Lies tour started, Josh posted a couple of photos on Facebook and said he’s looking forward to reinventing some of the songs! We’re counting down the months before Josh hits the road. Tickets are on sale now. Joining Josh and his band on tour this time are Jackson McLaren and Gossling. Details here.

Speaking of tours. We’re keen to get some reviews and photos in from the Only Sparrows regional tour. MASSIVE thanks to Jess in Tassie who sent through a review (and photos) of the Waratah Hotel show in Hobart. You can read the review here. Below is a photo from that gig!

Remember a few weeks back when Josh Pyke went into Triple J for Like a Version? Well, we’re always keen to hear his cover of Endless Summer by The Jezabels again, so why not request it? Here’s how:

A cast of Australian musicians and industry folk have launched a campaign to support peers who have hit hard times, Support Act. Josh Pyke, is a Support Act ambassador and features in the TV commercial. “Not everyone in the music industry is able to lead a comfortable life when the music stops playing”

And that’s it for now folks,

As always, join us on Twitter, or Facebook. (We’re SO close to 500 likes on Facebook!)
