Fans First tour begins in Sydney

It was the night before Christmas. Not really, but Josh Pyke’s new album But For All These Shrinking Hearts is out tomorrow. If you’re quick you can still pre-order it on iTunes for the bargain price of $9.99!

Last night the Fans First Tour kicked off in Sydney at the Soda Factory. From all accounts it was an excellent showcase of the new material. Melbourne, it’s your turn next week. Thanks to Bobby Hendry Photography & Design for the above photo.

It’s been a big week in the lead up to the album release.

News.com.au exclusively premiered the album stream, Beat Magazine in Melbourne featured Josh on the cover, Double J named the album their feature album, and Josh performed on Channel 9’s TODAY show.

MusicGlue emailed those who pre-ordered the album (via Josh Pyke’s website) yesterday saying the orders have been dispatched. I’m sure we’ll all be eagerly waiting by the letterbox.
