Happy 6th Birthday FOJP
It feels like only yesterday that we were celebrating five years of Friends of Josh Pyke and now we’ve made it to six years. I’m still trying to work out where exactly this year has gone.
There’s been a lot of highlights over the years, one needs only to read our about page to see how much fun we’ve had.
I could ramble on and reminisce about the past six years but I’ll try keep this next bit short. I feel incredibly grateful and proud to run Friends of Josh Pyke. Not once have I thought of FOJP as a waste of time, the countless hours and energy that has gone into this over the years has always been worth it. Whilst I don’t have as much time as I used to (someone has to work to pay the bills) the initial drive and joy of running Friends of Josh Pyke is still there.
I wouldn’t still be doing this if I didn’t enjoy it.
Thank you to everyone that in one way or another has had something to do with Friends of Josh Pyke over the past six years. Josh Pyke sure does have some amazing fans, and it’s been great getting to know so many of you.
As for Josh Pyke, I’ll end this by saying FOJP quite obviously wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for your music, but I don’t think we’d still be here six years later if it wasn’t for your ongoing encouragement and appreciation, so thank you.
Here’s to the next six years!
