Well friends, the day has finally arrived. Josh Pyke’s fifth studio album But For All These Shrinking Hearts is officially released today.

In December 2014, Josh announced he would begin working on his fifth album in the new year. From March onwards we were teased with song snippets from the studio, and his crafty lyric snippets. Months passed and in mid May the release date was revealed.

Now that long wait is finally over.

Happy album release day, Josh! Thanks for crafting a stellar release, full of the songs that many will no doubt choose to soundtrack to their lives.

I’m also incredibly honoured to be thanked in another album. And while my name is mentioned, I just want to say, Friends of Josh Pyke wouldn’t be here without you all.

A massive shout out to Josh’s team for getting the record out and into our ears! Thanks Wonderlick Entertainment, Sony, Alberts, John Castle, Chris Welch, Jefferton James, Select Music, On The Map PR, and many others behind the scenes.

The reviews are starting to roll in, here’s a couple of our favourites.

“There’s a real lively spirit about the album as a whole that makes for an uplifting and enriching listening experience.”Renowned for Sound, 4 stars

“Creativity cannot and should not be controlled. Nor should it be feared — and that sense of ‘creative fearlessness’ clearly resonates throughout this latest offering from one of Australia’s greatest singer-songwriters of the last decade.”Music Feeds
