Josh Pyke’s regional tour continues this week
Josh Pyke kicked of his massive 32 date regional tour at the end of May, taking in Darwin, Wollongong and Gosford. Unfortunately he was battling the flu, and made the wise move to cancel two shows (Port Macquarie and Coffs Harbour).
The good news is that the tour continues this Friday at Tanks Arts Centre, and old mate Jack Carty jumps back on support duties! How good is this ‘Songlines’ live version the two of them recorded! Full tour dates & ticket details here.
There’s been a stack of great interviews of late – Beat Magazine, Casual Band Blogger, NQ Music Press, Bunbury Mail, Border Mail, and Music Feeds.
In other news – as an Indigenous Literacy Foundation ambassador Josh Pyke joined Justine Clarke, Deborah Cheetham and the students of Gawura School earlier this month. Josh visited the school to record the students voices for a song that will be out on Indigenous Literacy Day – September 7th.
Until next time,
