Ok, ok – we’ll start with the news you want to hear.

Yesterday Josh Pyke’s new single was premiered on Triple J! It’s called Leeward Side and it’s pretty amazing. Just what we were hoping for! You can now buy it on .

Josh also had some more good news to share – the announcement of a new addition to his family. Congrats JP! As a result, the Brisbane Fans First show scheduled for this Friday will now be postponed until June 7th at the same venue. If you can’t make the new date & need a refund please contact comps@jbhifi.com.au.

Now, where were we.. oh yeah, the Melbourne Fans First show!

What an fantastic night! I consider myself incredibly lucky and grateful for all the opportunities Josh Pyke and his management have given me over the years. Helping to organize a Josh Pyke gig was the icing on the cake!

It was also great meeting so many of you that I had spoken to on Facebook and Twitter. You really are a lovely bunch of people!

Highlights? All. Of. It.

But seriously, it was a really great night with a nice relaxed vibe. Our Q&A with Josh went well, and we streamed it live to YouTube. Cool huh?! Watch it here if you missed it. Josh played a selection of a new songs, and some old ones. We even had a raffle! Thanks to Select Music and Ivy League Records for the prizes!

Massive thank you to Josh Pyke and his management for letting FOJP get involved. (It still spins me out that they did!) And thanks to Gemma for helping with the door and merch table! Legend!
