Only Sparrows Album & Tour

We’re pretty darn excited to tell you…

Josh Pyke’s new album “Only Sparrows” is out August 19th through Ivy League and the new single “No One Wants A Lover” will be on air and available through iTunes on June 20th.

And Josh has announced a tour! Those signed up to his mailing list would have received the news a few days ago.

Ivy League Records is very pleased to announce that Josh Pyke will release his third album Only Sparrows on August 19, 2011. The first single from the album No One Wants A Lover will hit airwaves on June 20 before Josh embarks on the very special Fans First tour.

Following a year off the road, Josh is back for a small run of intimate acoustic shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Melbourne where he will play some of his new songs live for the very first time.

As a special Thankyou to loyal Josh Pyke Fans, members of the Josh Pyke fan club will have the chance to purchase tickets in a presale that begins on Thursday May 26 at 9am and ends on Wednesday June 1 at 5pm before tickets go on sale to the general public on June 2 at 9am. Tickets will be sold on a first-come first-served basis, so if all tickets are sold in the presale, there will be no more available.

This is a rare chance to see Josh Pyke in small venues and it WILL SELL OUT so we recommend keeping this a secret. Fans that are part of the fan club will get an email with special instructions on how to purchase tickets at on the morning of May 26.

Only Sparrows will be Josh Pyke’s third album and follows on from his Gold selling ARIA award winning albums Memories & Dust (2007) and Chimney’s Afire (2008).
