UK Tour, Basement Birds & Perth Show

I know, i know. Before you start, yes it’s taken me over a month for another update! But if you were following us on Twitter you would get the news first without having to wait for me to update. For those playing at home, i’ve recently made the move from Perth to Melbourne hence the lack of updating.

But enough about me, Josh spent a few days in Perth in February recording with Kevin Mitchell, Kav Temperley and Steve Parkin for Basement Birds and finished the month with the final shows of the Solo Tour.

Earlier this month the Basement Birds website was launched giving you a sneak preview of what to expect in the coming months. Pyke then headed to the UK for a string of dates with Emma Pollock, those lucky enough to attend are encouraged to send us through photos and/or reviews! friendsofjoshpyke@gmail.com

We’d love to hear how the gigs went. Just like Claire B has done, sending us some photos from the Birmingham gig. Thanks Claire!

It was bound to happen sooner or later, i leave Perth and Josh plays a gig there. For those Perth fans, Josh Pyke will be playing at the Joondalup Festival THIS SATURDAY 27th March. Josh and band hit the stage at 8pm (playing til 9pm according to the website) Perth’s Luna Parade will be playing before at 7pm, so get down early. This is a FREE and ALL AGES event. If you see Josh, tell him Sabi (sabby) says hi. Haha. Don’t forget to send us your photos and reviews!
