We’re Almost A Year Old

Earlier this week Meary (website guru) and I renewed the FOJP website domain name which means this website will continue for at least another year (but longer of course!)

In exactly a week friendsofjoshpyke.com will have been online for a year. Who wants to throw us a party? For those curious, although the website is almost a year old, FOJP has been around since September 2006.

It’s been almost a month since the last update and as a common occurrence lately time has escaped me so I’ll bring you up to date with what’s happened recently:

On Friday the 6th of November, Josh played at the Fremantle Arts Centre in Perth bringing his Variations tour to a close. Thanks to Josh and Josh Pyke HQ I was lucky enough to interview him and get some soundcheck footage. Unfortunately there’s been a slight delay on editing the footage but it will be done soon and you’ll have to be on the JP forum to view it.

The following week saw the release of Josh Pyke’s DVD, featuring an unreleased 45 minute doco + acoustic session, Josh live in concert, official music videos and more it’s sure to be on all of your Christmas wishlists, if you don’t own it already! Send us your thoughts about the DVD on twitter – @friendsofjp

This week the 2009 ARIAs take place in Sydney. Tune into channel 9 on Thursday November 26th at 8:30pm. As said in one of the previous posts, all of us here at FOJP (as well as all JP fans no doubt) wish Josh luck with his two nominations and whether he goes home with all or no ARIAs we’ll still be here supporting him.

And a quick update about friendsofjoshpyke.com some of you may have noticed the forum was removed and replaced with a ‘Press’ section. Over the next few weeks i’ll be updating it with some recent street press articles, website interviews, magazine clippings etc. If you have anything to contribute please email friendsofjoshpyke@gmail.com
